The role of this service is to:
- act as the principal advice department to the council on matters of general policy, performance and organisational requirements
- provide strategic direction, securing the preparation of budgets, presenting policy options and demonstrating corporate leadership
- deliver an effective human resources service to Angus Council
- provide public relations and emergency planning services
- promote and foster good external relations
- services to elected members
