This document outlines Angus Council's plans to reduce the environmental impacts created by the Council itself in the delivery of services to its citizens. More than one hundred actions to improve the environment in Angus are divided into sections under the topic headings of:

The Environmental Strategy Action Plan highlights why action is needed now to tackle environmental issues such as global warming and climate change as well as explaining the concept of sustainable development and Local Agenda 21. This document is the first step in the process of implementing sustainable development and forms the basis of a Local Agenda 21 for Angus.
