In 2007 Phoenix Television broadcast three short films about Angus, highlighting the tourism assets of the county which promotes the area as the "first choice destination for Chinese travellers". These film clips featured Angus as a tourism destination. One film focused on Glamis Castle and another on what Angus can offer golfers in "Carnoustie Country".

Watch the changes in season and the migrating birds on our Montrose Basin webcam, on the water and at the feeders. The webcam is located on the outside of the viewing gallery at the Scottish Wildlife Trust Montrose Basin Visitor Centre. The Centre offers panoramic views of the area, binoculars, telescopes, and a warm welcome.

From the South, follow signs for Stirling or Perth, then Dundee, and northward via the A90 to Forfar and the heart of the county and the hills, or via the A92 towards Arbroath and Montrose and the lovely coast of Angus. More information and transport links here.
From the North, follow the A90 or A92 from Aberdeen, travel down the A9 from Inverness and points North to Perth and head for Dundee, or come off the A9 at Dunkeld and delight in the tree-lined country road into Angus via Blairgowrie and Kirriemuir.
