Mobile Half Pipe
Angus Council has invested in a new £30,000 mobile half pipe unit, which will travel the length and breadth of the county to areas where no wheeled sports facility currently exists.
The unit weighs three tonnes, measures nine metres by nine metres when opened out, and is two metres high. It has two platforms, which double as a youth shelter underneath and conforms to recognised industry standards and stringent health and safety requirements. It will be operated as play equipment and subsequently can be used by anyone free of charge.
