A PDF form that has been "typewriter enabled" can be filled in on screen using Adobe Reader and the completed form can be saved before printing it out. The form can also be edited at a later date.
- Click the relevant link to open the form or save a copy of it on your PC by right-clicking on the link and choosing "Save target as..." from the menu.
- To type on the form click the typewriter icon
. - A thin vertical bar and the letter "A" will appear
. Now click where you wish to start typing. - Save the form in the usual way. The typed details are saved with the form and can be edited later if required. The form can then be printed, signed and returned to the relevant address.
NOTE: you MUST have version 7.05 of Adobe Reader or above to use this feature. The latest version of Adobe Reader can be downloaded from the Adobe website. (This is a very large download - 20MB. It will take a long time to download on a dial-up connection.) The forms can still be printed out and completed manually if you do not wish to upgrade Acrobat Reader.
