Tom Hardy is a normal sixteen year old who lives with his grandmother in the run down gang ridden streets of the Crow Estate, until his skull is shattered by an I Phone which is thrown from a tower block. The phone is fused into his brain leaving him with the ability to become iBoy with incredible powers and knowledge. This novel is a gripping and gritty tale of revenge and the redeeming power of love as Tom struggles to remain in control of himself.

Kevin Brooks

Kevin Brooks is a prolific writer for young adults. As a child, he enjoyed reading detective novels and suspense and mystery are important elements of many of his plots. His novel Candy was the winner of the Angus Book Award 2007. Black Rabbit Summer was shortlisted for the Angus Book Award in 2009. He studied Psychology and Philosophy at Birmingham, Aston University in 1980 and Cultural Studies in London in 1983. He has done a variety of jobs including: musician, garage attendant, crematorium handyman, civil service clerk, hot dog vendor at the London Zoo, post office clerk, and railway ticket office clerk.
