MINUTE of MEETING of ANGUS COUNCIL held in the Town and County Hall, Forfar on Thursday, 22 June 1995 at 1.30 p.m.
Present: Councillors BRIAN M C MILNE, Mrs RENATE LAMONT, JOHN C GIBB, WILLIAM MIDDLETON, IAN HUDGHTON, WILLIAM G CROWE, GEORGE NORRIE, WILLIAM DOIG, IAN MacKINTOSH, STEWART N MOWATT, THOMAS YOUNG, FRANK ELLIS and ROBERT J MURRAY.

1. EXCLUSION OF PUBLIC AND PRESS
The Council resolved that the public and press be excluded during consideration of the item recorded at Article 2 below to avoid disclosure of information which was exempt in terms of Part I of Schedule 7A of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973, Paragraph 1.
2. POST OF DIRECTOR OF PROPERTY SERVICES
With reference to Article 2 (Interim Executive Committee, 14 June 1995) the Council interviewed five candidates who had applied for the post of Director of Property Services.
Following discussion, it was agreed that Mr Michael G Lunny, at present Director of Technical Services, Caithness District Council, be appointed to the post.
