Community planning is about everyone (organisations and communities) working together to make their area a better place to live.
The Angus Community Planning Partnership membership includes Angus Council, Angus College, Angus Association of Voluntary Organisations, Volunteer Centre Angus, NHS Tayside, Angus Community Health Partnership, Scottish Enterprise Tayside, Careers Scotland, Tayside Fire & Rescue and Tayside Police.
The first Angus Community Plan (700 KB PDF), launched in December 2000, involved input from many agencies and community organisations who provided valuable responses to the draft consultation document.
This was reviewed in 2007 and the current Angus Community Plan (1 MB PDF) sets out a vision for Angus up to 2012, which emphasises the crucial role of partnership between all of the agencies having responsibilities to Angus and its communities.
