Building Construction - Conditions of Contract

The Property Division of the Council's Corporate Services Department employ a range of contract conditions to procure building works and associated services.

The versions used to procure works falling within the Low Value Threshold procedure; under the Council's Financial Regulations; Section 16 - Procurement Arrangements; are listed below, with links to the documents:

Further versions of conditions of contract may be published here in the future and this will assist in reducing repetitive paperwork and also ensure that the most up to date versions of the conditions are available for reference and/ or download.

Where tender documents issued by the Property Division incorporate reference to the Conditions listed on this webpage all selected tenderers (Contractors, Consultants, Suppliers and any subcontractors they employ) will be held to be have read these Conditions and be fully conversant with them.

The works/ supplies which form part of any Contract let under these Conditions shall be carried out and completed in accordance with; and the rights and duties of the Employer and the Contractor shall be regulated by; the appropriate above noted Conditions.
