Multi-member Wards
The Local Government Boundary Commission for Scotland’s final recommendations for multi-member wards within Angus Council have been accepted by Scottish Ministers and enacted as the Angus (Electoral Arrangements) Order 2006. The new wards will take effect for the Council elections in 2007.
Angus Council will be made up of 8 new multi-member wards with three or four councillors representing each ward. The table below lists the new wards and the number of members allocated to each ward.
