Election Timetable
The following timetable details key dates for the UK Parliamentary Election to be held on 6 May 2010:

| Delivery of Nomination Papers to Returning Officer | Between the hours of 10am and 4pm on any working day after publication of the Notice of Election |
| Deadline for delivery of nomination papers to the Returning Officer | Not later than 4pm on Tuesday 20 April |
| Deadline for withdrawals of nomination | Not later than 4pm on Tuesday 20 April |
| Publish statement as to persons nominated/notice of poll/notice of situation of polling stations | Not later than 4pm on Tuesday 20 April (if no objections are received) Not later than 4pm on Wednesday 21 April (if objections are received) |
| Deadline for notice of appointment of election agents | Not later than 4pm on Tuesday 20 April |
