Business continuity is the planning process that aims to ensure that the effects of any impacts caused to your business by incidents or crises are minimal.

Business continuity planning will assist you to anticipate, prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from disruptions as quickly as possible.

Identifying the key parts of your business, thinking ahead and planning for a crisis that could affect your business, is key to the development of a business continuity plan and will ensure your business continues to survive. In short, it is about ensuring that a crisis does not become a disaster.
