Angus Archive Drop In Day 17 July 2008
Rare medieval treasures will be on display at the next Drop in Day at Angus Archives on Thursday 17 July between 10am - 4pm at the Hunter Library, by Restenneth Priory. The treasures on display will include very rare piece of 13th century music used in Brechin Cathedral and later recycled as a 17th century book cover, a 1321 Robert the Bruce charter granting a Sunday market to Brechin and a 15th century Papal Bull. Why not pop in and examine them for yourself? Children are welcome if accompanied by an adult who might also enjoy our selection of historical colouring sheets and stamps.
