Facilities At Angus Archives
We offer the visitor the following facilities:
Copying service
The Angus Archives can provide researchers with photocopies from books, documents, research files, maps and microfilms. A photocopy declaration must be signed and returned to Angus Archives. Copyright laws will be strictly observed. Please print out the photocopy declaration form [PDF 60K] and return it to us. We will inform you of the total cost before proceeding with the copying. A handling charge of £1.50 will be added to every order plus post and packaging.
Documents are photocopied at the discretion of the Archivist and some requests may be denied due to a documents condition.

Photographic reproductions
Glossy prints can be reproduced from any of the items in the photographic collection, copyright permitting.
The charges vary according to size:
| 7" x5" | £7.50 in the UK |
| 8" x6" | £8.81 in the UK |
| 10" x 8" | £12.34 in the UK |
The above totals are inclusive of VAT. Countries other than the UK add on a further 1.00 in postage.

Internet access
We provide a PC for visitors to access sites of historical and genealogical interest. We do not currently employ a booking system but we ask users to be considerate of the needs of other visitors
Laptop access
We have 3 seats where laptop access is permitted but you must book a seat in advance and state this requirement.
Lockers
We provide lockers for the safe storage of handbags and other bags etc. We also provide a coat rack for all outdoor jackets.
Disabled access and toilet are provided
Bookshop
We offer a small number of publications for sale including a variety of town trails, and other titles such as Burn the Witch, An 18th century Scots Kitchen, The Place Names of Angus and Early Montrose.
Food
You may bring sandwiches and eat them in our designated snack area. We can provide tea and coffee for a small charge.
