A transcript is when a document has been copied out or typed up exactly as it has been written to make it easier to read or to handle. This will include the poor grammar and inconsistent spelling of the creator, Angus Archives has produced or acquired a number of transcribed items, mainly focusing on early, fragile records. You may still see or use the original item unless it is too fragile to produce.
