What to bring
Proof of identity so we can issue a reader ticket
Bring your notes and spare paper or a notebook
Bring a pencil - pens are NOT allowed
Bring cash in small amounts for photocopying
We will provide you with a clear wallet for carrying essential items in the search room - all other items are to be left in the lockers provided at the reception desk
Bring sandwiches -we are located 2 miles from the nearest coffee shop
You may bring a laptop but there are only 3 seats where they may be used, so please book in advance.
The following items are not allowed in the searchroom:
Food
Drink
Pens
Your own documents or books - bring copies only please
Mobile phones
Digital cameras
Coats
Bags (lockers are provided at the reception desk)
Sharp implements such as scissors or knives
Pets (guide dogs excepted)
Please note Angus Archives is a no smoking area.
