Active Dance
Angus Council Leisure Services dance programme "Active Dance" is being rolled out across Angus to complement the existing dance class programme which has run for the past few years.
Active Dance classes are designed to allow all ages and abilities the opportunity to learn different dance disciplines including
- Scottish,
- Irish,
- Tap,
- Hip Hop, and
- Angus 4 Danz Musical Theatre
as well as offering Pre-school and parent & toddlers classes.
Weekly Sessions (Term Time)
We now have weekly sessions running in most areas of Angus and more classes will be added in the coming months. We currently have sessions in
- Arbroath,
- Brechin,
- Carnoustie,
- Forfar,
- Kirriemuir and
- Montrose.
Costs - £3.00 per session or FREE through bACTIVE.
Holiday Programmes
Angus 4 Danz musical theatre holiday workshops have proven to be extremely popular over a number of years. These sessions allow boys and girls to learn dance routines based round a set theme along with making props to go along with the performance. Some of the past shows have included High School Musical; Diamonds are Forever and Dreaming of Fame.
