However you're looking to stay healthy, Angus Leisure has a range of membership types to suit all ages and lifestyles.

Angus Leisure offers the opportunity to work out towards a healthier you in our spacious, state-of-the-art facilities. To tone and shape your body we've a wide selection of equipment as well as fat burning bikes, treadmills, rowers and cross trainers. You can also make the most of our specialised strength training areas offering a large selection of free weights.

We have an extensive range of great classes to suit all ages and fitness levels from Pilates and Yoga to Body Combat and Cardio Conditioning. So, if it's a quick work out in your lunch break or a full adrenalin session after work we're more than confident we have the class and time to suit everyone.

Alternatively get into the swim at one of our fantastic swimming pools.

Once you've finished your workout, why not wind down in our superb health suites which boast relaxing sauna and steam room.

Activity Works

Healthy Working Lives and Angus Leisure are offering workplaces in Angus and staff resident in Angus from other HWL workplaces, a range of options for getting more physically active.

Participants will be given unlimited access to all of Angus Leisure's sport and leisure facilities and fitness classes for a total cost of £25 for a period of 8 weeks (less than HALF of the usual cost). In addition after the initial 8 weeks, if a person decides to continue their membership, HWL will pay 20% of the cost for the next 4 months!

This initiative will be of particular interest to workplaces in Angus but will also be of interest to any staff living in Angus. We are sure that a number of your employees collectively or individually will be interested in this special offer and in order to reserve one or a number of places for your company and to receive registration forms for employees - please contact LMIS@angus.gov.uk or Angus Leisure on 01307 475372 quoting Activity Works.

Previously this offer was not available for Angus Council and NHS staff but the restrictions have now been lifted to allow participants from these workplaces.

bACTIVE logo

"bACTIVE" Unlimited Leisure Membership Scheme

"bACTIVE" is an unlimited membership scheme paid by direct debit and gives users the opportunity to enjoy their leisure activities for a set monthly fee. The membership covers all facilities and classes operated by Angus Leisure. The membership has the added value of covering access to any of the sites that Angus Leisure operates and with memberships from under £1 per day, it's a price that you can afford to pay for your health and wellbeing.

Pay as You Go Option (Routes to Leisure)

Having a "Routes to Leisure" Card offers users the opportunity to access a range of services and regular promotions which are available within the Angus Council Indoor Leisure facilities.

Use the card on a pay as you go basis to access fitness suites, swimming pools, group exercise classes and much more.

Concessionary Rates

To be entitled to concessionary rates concessionary users must subscribe to the concessionary discount scheme.

2 options are available:

  1. Angus Concession Scheme

    An annual fee is paid which then gives reduced rates for all activities on a pay as you go basis.

    The Angus Concession Scheme is a concessionary access discount system, which entitles customers to a wide range of leisure and sports activities throughout Angus Leisure facilities.

    With the Angus Concession Scheme you can take advantage of the savings whatever your leisure interests may be.

    The scheme also allows you to book 7 days in advance allowing you to reserve a place in your favourite class or a five-a-side court for your weekly game of football.

    The Angus Concession Scheme is available to concessionary users and proof of concession entitlement must be shown.

    Acceptable proof is listed below:

    • Photo Driving Licence (Junior** and 60+)
    • Passport (Junior** and 60+)
    • National Entitlement Card/Young Scot Card (Junior**)
    • NHS Exemption Card
    • Letter showing entitlement to Disability Living Allowance*
    • Letter showing entitlement to Income Support*
    • Letter showing entitlement to Working Tax Credit*
    • Letter showing entitlement to Employment support Allowance*
    • Letter showing entitlement to Jobseekers Allowance*

    * must be dated the current financial year
    **A junior is someone under the age of 18

    Memberships last for 12 months from date of sign up.

  2. bACTIVE Concession

    A membership paid monthly by Direct Debit which gives you access to all activities.

    Proof of concessionary entitlement must be provided at the time of joining. The Angus Concession Scheme option expires after 12 months and proof of continuing entitlement must be shown when renewing for all but 60+ members.

    bACTIVE members will also be required to provide proof of continuing entitlement every 12 months, with memberships being converted to full paying adult memberships if proof is not provided.

    Acceptable proof is listed below:

Corporate Membership

At Angus Leisure we believe that creating a healthier lifestyle for your employees can lead to improved motivation, productivity and a more profitable workforce. With a minimum of 10 members, companies are eligible for our discounted corporate membership rates. Memberships can be paid for by the company, the employee or a combination of the two.
