Monifieth Blue Seaway
Monifieth Blue Seaway has lots to offer including putting, tennis courts, bowling green, wheeled sports and two children's playparks. It is an ideal location for a visit to the seaside.
The scenic surroundings offer many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors at any time of the year.
The children's playparks and wheeled sports area are open at all times, however the putting, bowls and tennis are open seasonally, April - September.
Montrose Seafront “Splash”
Located adjacent to Montrose Beach front the facility provides extensive fun facilities for children

West Links, Arbroath
West Links Outdoor Recreations is situated on the seafront in Arbroath just off the main coastal road. It offers fantastic fun for al the family.
It is open from April to September and can offer the following activities:
- 9 hole Pitch and Putt Golf Course
- 9 hole Putting Course
- 9 hole Crazy Golf Course
- 2 Tennis Courts
- Trampolines
- Mini Cars
- Road Train which operates on a set route round historic Arbroath.
Lochside Outdoor Recreations
The Lochside Outdoor Recreations are located in the spectacular setting of Forfar Country Park adjacent the Lochside Leisure Centre and a short walk from the Lochside Caravan Park.
Lochside Recreations consists of an 18 hole Pitch and Putt course, 18 hole putting green, a wheeled sports area and a 9 hole crazy golf course.
Carnoustie Sandy Sensation
Sandy Sensation at Carnoustie Seafront is situated in walking distance from the famous Carnoustie Golf Hotel and golf courses. The area provides many leisure facilities:
- Kids' Play Areas
- Paddling Pool with play equipment
- 9 hole Crazy Golf Course
- 2 Tennis Courts
- Picnic Areas
- Wheeled sports area
- Free Car Parking
The children's playparks and wheeled sports area are open at all times, however the crazy golf and tennis are open seasonally, April - September.
Football Pitches - Outdoor
There are a number of Council owned grass football pitches within the Angus area. These are available for hire by booking at the centre noted in the football pitch listing for both 11 a-side and 7 a-side games. Pitches are marked out and available for hire between mid August until mid June.
Goal posts are erected on the pitches at the start of season. Myre Park and Lochside pitches, Forfar, and Martin Park, Kirriemuir are the only pitches for which changing accommodation with showers can be made available at an extra cost.
