What is Power Plate® training?
Developed to optimize the effects of Acceleration TrainingTM exercise, the Power Plate® machine is one of the most exciting technological advances made in the fields of sports, athletics, health, fitness, and beauty.
The health, fitness and sports performance industries are rife with fads and trends. Often, these products or activities rely on unfounded claims with little research or evidence to support them and the results do not justify the hype. These tend to have a short life cycle given that they are based on an overpromise and usually result in under-delivery.
However, this is not the case with an Acceleration TrainingTM workout, which has more than 30 years of practical and scientific research and numerous real-life case studies to support its efficacy. Power Plates® - Class Types
Power Core - It's all about the centre. This session will focus on balance and co-ordination, developing the core to help maintain good posture and a health back. This session offers a well rounded practice with strong emphasis on the core, body/mind purification, breath to movement connection and strengthening sequences. Level: All fitness levels.
Power Zone - This session is designed for everyone that wants to tone up. It's a general conditioning session promoting muscle strength and improving flexibility. Learn basic poses and terminology and feel confident as you begin your Power Plates programme. Level: All fitness levels.
Power Slim - Burn fat and tone your body with this blend of cardio and Power Plate strength training exercises. This session uses a variety of equipment like steps, medicine balls and dumbbells to get a strong, sleek body. Level: Beginner/Intermediate.
Power Flex - This session uses various approaches to increase flexibility. This session includes stretch, relax and massage exercises. Level: All fitness levels.
Power Fit - Train the body to move, jump, push and pull with more intensity and endurance. Focus on strengthening the core and developing the poser and skills needed to perform in the game of life or sport using practical applications of performance and functional training. Level: Intermediate/Advanced
Power Sculpt - This session uses various resistance training techniques to improve muscular strength and endurance. This is a total body conditioning session designed to improve your shape and strength in all areas of the body. Level: Intermediate/Advanced
