Ranger Service
The Ranger Service has bases at Crombie, Forfar Loch and Monikie Country Parks as well as Glen Doll and Montrose Basin.
In addition we are responsible for other sites throughout the county.
Wherever you are throughout the United Kingdom, rangers can be recognised by the national symbol worn on their uniforms.
In order to protect and improve the environment of Angus, The Ranger Service works with a variety of agencies including:
- The British Association for Shooting and Conservation
- Cairngorms National Park
- Forestry Commission
- The National Trust for Scotland
- Scottish Natural Heritage
- Scottish Wildlife Trust
- Tayside Biodiversity Partnership
- Tayside Geodiversity
