Environmental Education
Education and Community Groups
School, college and community groups are welcome all year at each of the country parks and ranger bases throughout Angus. Rangers are available to work with classes and provide teachers with advice and assistance.
The Ranger Service can visit schools to give illustrated talks, or practical sessions.
Teachers planning environmental activities are encouraged to discuss their ideas with the Ranger Service who will tailor activities to meet the needs of the 5-14 curriculum and individual classes.
Community/Youth groups can also call on the services of the Ranger Service. From guided walks to illustrated talks and practical sessions.
Contact any Ranger Centre for information. Booking in advance is necessary.
There is no charge for talks and walks. A fee may be chargeable for practical sessions e.g. bird box building, to cover materials used.
