Angus Local Plan Review (Adopted 2009)
The Angus Local Plan Review was adopted in February 2009 and replaced the previous Angus Local Plan (adopted November 2000) and together with the approved Dundee and Angus Structure Plan (approved by Scottish Ministers in October 2002), comprise the Statutory Development Plan.
Angus Council's Infrastructure Services Committee at their meeting on 24 August 2010 gave formal approval to commence the preparation of the first Angus Local Development Plan.
The Angus Local Plan Review (February 2009) and related documents are also available for reference, free of charge, during normal working hours at:
- Public Libraries in Arbroath, Brechin, Carnoustie, Forfar, Kirriemuir, Monifieth, Montrose and the Mobile Libraries which circulate in the Angus area;
- ACCESS Offices in Arbroath, Brechin, Carnoustie, Forfar, Kirriemuir, Monifieth and Montrose;
- Planning & Transport Reception, County Buildings, Forfar; and
- Birkhill, Fowlis and Wellbank Village Halls
A full copy of the adopted Angus Local Plan Review is also available free of charge on CD. Hard copies of the adopted Local Plan Review will cost £30.00 each including post and packaging.
