Shop Fittings Return Home
A number of original fittings from the chemist shop, which traded from what is now the Kirriemuir Gateway to the Glens Museum, have been returned home.
As part of a refit, Lloyds the Chemists in the Roods, Kirriemuir, have donated a number of items to the museum.
Some of these fittings were originally in the Town House when it was a chemist shop before being moved to the Roods.
The museum now plans to have a major exhibition of these items next year, but as a sneak preview the original Tower Tea decorative wall clock is already back in its original place.
This clock was always on show when this was the chemists shop and is particularly special to all Kirriemarians who remember the shop.
