Angus Eco Teams - Volunteers Wanted
After the success of the previous Eco Teams project a couple of years ago, the Council is now looking for 15 volunteers across Angus to participate in a new Eco Teams activity that will help households to reduce their carbon footprint.
Would you like to be trained to become an Eco Team Facilitator and help people to reduce their energy usage, and increase their recycling as well as how to save water, plan their travel and shop in a more environmentally friendly way? The training will last one day and the whole process will take just three months to complete. All participants will be fully supported in their efforts by a team of experts and will receive free products to help them achieve their goals. Evidence shows that people who try to reduce their footprint have more success if they are part of a group. Everyone who took part in the last Eco Teams really enjoyed it and learned a lot about how to live a more environmentally friendly life.
If you would like to join an Eco Team, please contact Rosie Manson, Infrastructure Services on (01307) 473258 or email mansonrc@angus.gov.uk
