Angus Residents Offered The Chance To Be Active This Summer
Adults and children in Angus can become fit and active this summer by taking part in a range of activities on offer at Angus Council’s sports and leisure facilities.
The council’s sports and countryside services are currently offering adults a four week trial membership to their leisure facilities for the reduced sum of £20. For less than £1 a day, those registered can enjoy unlimited use of the council’s seven swimming pools, 11 sports halls and have access to a host of gym and fitness facilities and programmes. The offer runs until 31 July.
Additionally, Sports and Countryside Services offers a new e-mail information service, where those interested are able to register on www.angus.gov.uk/sportscountryside or fill in their details on a postcard available at any of the county’s sports facilities. Those registered will then receive regular updates with the latest news, promotions, special offers and entry to a monthly prize draw.
Children are also currently enjoying a variety of sporting and fun activities at venues throughout Angus, as part of the Active Angus programme. Among the attractions are holiday clubs, learn to swim programmes, cycling classes and junior coaching sessions.
