External Funding Seminars

Angus Council is running a seminar to give information and advice to local voluntary and community groups on how to be successful at attracting grants.

The half day event will be run in Montrose on Thursday 4 September and again in Forfar on Monday 8 September, and is aimed at groups looking for under £10,000 from small grant funds, such as the Lottery's Awards for All, and the council's own grant schemes.

The seminar is particularly aimed at groups that are new to funding and may not have had to complete funding applications before. Information will be given on various funds, the most popular small grant schemes including local trusts, and the event will round off with some tips on making a good funding application.

The seminar is one of a series of events run by the external funding team, who are happy for groups to contact them on funding related matters.
