Montrose Sailing Club Achieves Silver ACE Award
Montrose Sailing Club has achieved Angus Council’s Silver Angus Club Excellence award, reflecting the hard work of the club volunteers in providing a safe, effective and child-friendly club environment.
Presenting the award at the sailing club premises, Councillor Jeanette Gaul, Angus Council spokesperson on leisure said:
“It is important that clubs comply with all the legislation to ensure the safety and wellbeing of their members. Gaining the ACE Silver Award indicates that Montrose Sailing Club is making sure this happens. I am delighted that the club now has this award, and this presentation demonstrates the excellent opportunities which the club provides for the local community to gain experience of sailing.”
