Ticket Machine For West Abbey Car Park
A ticket machine arrangement is to be introduced in West Abbey Street car park, Arbroath for a trial period of one year, in a move towards better management of the short stay car parks in Angus. Parking will remain free of charge, but drivers will require to display a parking ticket obtained from the ticket machine to prove their time of arrival.
This arrangement will at present only apply to West Abbey Street car park and will come into effect from Monday 1 October 2012. New signs will be erected in the car park to advise drivers of the arrangements.
The success or otherwise of this scheme will be reviewed at the end of the trial period.
