Review of Community Council Scheme
Angus Council is currently carrying out a review of the Community Council scheme.
The initial public consultation phase ended on 7 September, and a number of representations were received from members of the public and other interested parties. As a result, a number of minor changes have been made to the proposed scheme and associated documents, and there will now be a further four week public consultation period beginning on Monday 24 September.
The revised proposals can be viewed at main council offices, public libraries and ACCESS offices. They can also be viewed on the Review of Scheme for the Establishment of Community Councils page on this website.
Comments and representations on the revised proposals may be made by email to chiefexec@angus.gov.uk or by post to the Chief Executive, Angus Council, Angus House, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar, DD8 1AX by 5.00pm on Friday 19 October 2012.
