Games For Angus To Promote Glasgow 2014

In the build-up to the Commonwealth Games Glasgow 2014, Angus Council has been working with EventScotland to produce Games for Angus 2012.

Angus Council leisure services have produced an array of sport and dance opportunities for the citizens of Angus in the build-up to the Games in Glasgow in 2014. Sessions are taking place across each burgh covering sports such as swimming, hockey, rugby and bowling.

There are still places available at all of the venues and anyone interested in attending should contact their local leisure facility for more details or download the programme booklet from www.angus.gov.uk/leisure

The Games for Angus management team are also delighted to announce that the official Commonwealth Games, Glasgow 2014 mascot Clyde will be arriving in Angus on Friday 12 October at Carnoustie Leisure Centre and will be around the centre during the morning to meet and greet members of the public.
