Blue Seaway Play Equipment Upgrade
Play equipment at Blue Seaway, Monifieth is to be replaced or refurbished during the current financial year’s programme of works, Angus Council Neighbourhood Services committee heard at their meeting yesterday, Thursday 4 October.
Repair works following vandalism at the park revealed that some items of equipment at Blue Seaway were in poor repair and required to be replaced. Cost of repairing or replacing the equipment will be £23,700 and the money will come from the council’s recreation, renewal and repair fund.
A further £5000 will be used from the fund to complete landscaping, following drainage works, at Langlands Park, Forfar.
The committee homologated the decision.
