Appointment to Council's New Management Structure
Angus Council's head of housing Alan McKeown has been appointed to the new post of Strategic Director for Communities.
Mr McKeown will continue in his current role as head of housing until the council's new structure comes into effect on 1 April next year.
The council agreed on 13 September to move to a new structure on 1 April 2013 with three departments:
- People - integrated services for individuals and families
- Communities - services and facilities in communities
- Resources - the services that support the business of the council
Three posts of strategic directors for People and Resources and a 2-yr Director Transforming Angus will be advertised shortly.
