No. 1 For Youth - Open Evening
No.1, the new facility for young people in Angus, is having an open evening next Wednesday (19 December) from 7 - 9pm.
The evening will be the third in the series of introductory sessions where guests have had the opportunity to find out what’s on offer at the on-line and on-site facility. This final session is for any member of the public interested in finding out more about the project.
Staff from the council’s Community Education Service, the Duke of Edinburgh Award’s scheme and the Angus Youth Congress will be on hand to give guided tours of the facility and what it has to offer.
No.1 at West High Street in Forfar is the ‘virtual’ home of the new dialogueyouth on-line magazine, which is being developed by young people across Angus. The magazine offers young people the chance to develop youth information and advice in a way that will be meaningful, confidential and accessible.
‘No 1’ is also the new home of the Angus Youth Congress, the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme and Angus Young Scot.
