Rootin' and Reddin' at the Meffan
The Meffan is holding a series of gardening related talks to accompany the Rootin' and Reddin' gardening exhibition.
The exhibition starts at the Meffan on 24 April until 22 May, before going on to tour other venues in Angus.
The exhibition explores the long history of gardening in Angus and is being held to help celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Royal Horticultural Society.
The talks are free on a first come, first served basis, each starting at 2pm, lasting approx one hour. They are to be held in the upstairs gallery at the Meffan.
The programme is:
- Friday 30 April - Gardening with Scottish Wildflowers by Giles Laverack, Scotia Seeds
- Friday 7 May - Gardening for Country Houses by Kevin White, Glenbervie House
- Friday 14 May - Plant collecting, plants & gardens by Ian Christie, Christie's Nursery, Kirriemuir
- Friday 21 May - Gardening for Wildlife by Russell Nisbet, Scottish Wildlife Trust.
