Poetry Fun At Kirriemuir Gateway To The Glens Museum

Kirriemuir’s Gateway to the Glens Museum is having a special children’s poetry event on Thursday 29 July (10am - 12 noon).

Acclaimed local writer Lydia Robb is leading a workshop for children aged around 8 to 12 years old, where budding writers can find exciting ways to make poetry. The museum will be like a giant page on which to compose poetry. It’s free and there are still places but all young poets should book a place by visiting, phoning or emailing the museum.

The workshop is part of the Kirriemuir Townhouse 400 celebrations and is supported by the Kirriemuir Townhouse 400 group, the Scottish Book Trust and Angus Council.
