Joint Community Care Plan Review
The first review of the 2003/06 Joint Community Care Plan, published by Angus Council and NHS Tayside, has been produced.
The three-year joint community care plan was published last year, in line with the partners statutory duty to produce a plan setting out how they will jointly plan and develop health and community care services.
The annual review continues this process, setting out the agreed priorities and plans for the development of community care services and provides an update on progress made.
Angus Social Work & Health committee (24 August) approved the review and speaking after the committee convener Glennis Middleton said the final review had been influenced by a range of stakeholders. "The review has been produced following consultation with a number of stakeholders and takes account of a wide range of comments submitted.
"While detailed planning for community care services is carried out through a range of other plans, policies and strategies the Joint Community Care Plan and the review summarise and pull together the information and planned actions in one comprehensive document. This helps us set out the priorities for these services and determine how much the council and NHS Tayside will spend on these services in the coming year."
