Sheltered Tenants' Information Pack Launched
ANGUS Council has produced a handbook containing a wealth of information for its sheltered housing tenants.
The Sheltered Tenants' Information Pack covers a variety of topics from rent and money matters to repairs and maintenance.
Each section of the pack was developed in consultation with staff, sheltered housing tenants and their representatives.
To launch the pack, Angus Housing Convener Frank Ellis met with tenant James Johnstone at his home in Toll Crescent, Forfar.
James was part of the focus group of residents and their families who took part in the compilation of the pack.
Councillor Ellis said: "This pack has been developed in association with the tenants because they are the people who have first hand knowledge of living in sheltered housing. Their input was extremely valuable as they were able to give an insight into the kind of information a new tenant is likely to need."
