Angus Council Introduces On-Line Journey Planner

A new Angus on-line bus journey planner is just the ticket.

The new journey planner is just a click away on Angus Council's website.

The planner has been released in time to reflect the changes that have been made to some local bus services over the Christmas and New Year period.

It also complements existing information including printed timetables for all Angus local bus services, maps and guides and information at nearly half of the county's bus stops.

The on-line facility allows users to plan journeys from individual bus stops for all journeys within Angus and to many points beyond including popular destinations such as Dundee city centre and Ninewells Hospital.

The planner can be found at www.angus.gov.uk/transport.

To reflect the changes that have been made to some bus services over the festive period, a leaflet has been published containing information on times of the last buses on Christmas Eve and Hogmanay and changes to the frequency of service that will be operated on some services.

A new public holiday timetable for services between Arbroath, Carnoustie, Monifieth and Dundee city centre, operating on 27 December and 3 January, is also now available.

Both publications are available from local libraries, ACCESS offices, council offices, tourist information centres and bus stations in Arbroath and Dundee, and via the website.
