Christmas Cheer from Scottish Gas
ANGUS Council's welfare rights team are urging local people to take advantage of a festive saving from Scottish Gas.
The company are offering a winter rebate on gas and electricity bills of up to £60 to customers who qualify for certain benefits such as pension credit, income based jobseekers allowance, housing or council tax benefit, and carers allowance.
However this list is not exhaustive and the offer covers all the main benefits which customers may be claiming.
If you think you may qualify, simply telephone Scottish Gas on 0845 603 2430 with your account number.
If successful you will receive £40 towards the cost of your gas bill and £20 towards the cost of your electricity bill.
The closing date for the offer is 31 December 2005.
