Cover Girl Presentation
Carnoustie toddler Hannah Ingram was the cover girl of the winter edition of Angus Life, the resident's magazine produced by the council and today (27 December) Provost Bill Middleton presented her with a framed copy of the magazine as a keepsake.
Although he had not previously met her, the Provost remembers Hannah's arrival into the world. "Hannah won't be aware of it but her birth was toasted by a trade delegation in China!" said Provost Middleton.
"Her grandfather was one of the business representatives out in Yantai with us a couple of years ago. During the trip he received news of Hannah's arrival so we all shared in his celebration.
"It's quite a co-incidence that it's Hannah who has now appeared on the magazine cover - it was a pleasure to finally meet her."
Hannah was snapped during one of the regular Tickle Toes reading sessions at Carnoustie Library.
