Angus Art Prize On Offer To Students
Angus Council is offering a purchase prize of up to £1000 for work by exhibiting graduates at this year’s degree shows.
The prize is open to students from all four Scottish schools of art - Edinburgh College of Art, Glasgow School of Art, Duncan of Jordanstone College, and Gray’s School of Art - who live in Angus or who have roots in the county.
Work inspired by or created in Angus is also invited and students who have spent time at Hospitalfield College of Art, Arbroath, are also eligible to enter.
The prize is open to all disciplines and may be divided between more than one winner. Winners will also be offered the option of a solo exhibition at The Meffan Gallery in Forfar.
The work purchased will become part of Angus Council’s permanent collection.
