Evening of celebration for Angus childcare workforce
A range of members of the early years and childcare workforce across Angus will attend a celebration at Angus College Conference Centre this evening, Wednesday 24 June.
Hosted by Angus Council Education Service, the evening will commend staff and services in achieving a number of accredited qualifications over the last 12 month period including:
Scottish Vocational Qualifications in Children's Care, Learning and Development and Play work; Professional Development Award – Early Education and Childcare; A1 Assessor award; Childminding Scheme of Excellence and Scottish Out of School Care Network - Aiming High –Quality Assurance.
Councillor Peter Nield, education convener, said: “Angus Council is committed to supporting Early Years and Childcare workforce development and to ensuring the availability of continuing professional development opportunities for all staff working with children, young people and families across Angus.”
