New Director of Education Appointed
Rachael Seitz has been appointed as Angus Council's new director of Education.
Mrs Seitz is currently the director of schools services in London Borough of Ealing Council.
Angus Council's education convener Peter Nield said the excellent reputation of Angus' education services had attracted a very high calibre of candidates to the post.
"We are delighted that Rachael has accepted the appointment as she brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the post. She is joining a very talented education team and together they will continue to develop and deliver excellent education services to the people of Angus."
Following her career in teaching Mrs Seitz became a quality development officer with East Renfrewshire Council. She then joined Suffolk County Council as assistant director of education before becoming the director of schools services in Ealing.
