Results of Angus Council by-election for the Monfieith & Sidlaw ward, declared today, Friday 26 June 2009 were:
- Craig Fotheringham , Scottish Conservative and Unionist: 698 votes
- Charles Goodall, Scottish Liberal Democrats: 439 votes
- Jean Lee, Scottish National Party: 2486 votes
Jean Lee is elected councillor for the ward.
The voter turnout was 28.73%.
