Temporary Closure Of The Meffan Museum
The Meffan Museum, Forfar, will close to the public on Tuesday 30 June and Wednesday 1 July while cosmetic work is undertaken to the pavement and ramp area at the entrance to the building.
The museum will re-open to the public on Thursday 2 July, and a new exhibition will open on Saturday 4 July, featuring the work of James Barclay.
In recent years James' visits to Spain and Orkney, absorbing the landscape and culture of those places - together with a move to a new studio by the North Sea, with its ever changing light and moods - have culminated in an exhibition of intense and striking landscapes.
This exhibition will run until 1 August.
