Refurbished Bruce Road Community Flat Re-Opens
The community flat in Bruce Road, Arbroath re-opens on Monday 6 July following refurbishment.
Local people and organisations will be able to use the revamped meeting room, and schoolchildren will benefit from new computer facilities provided to help them with their homework.
The renovation of the flat was made possible by a £6,000 grant from the Fairer Scotland Fund.
The opening ceremony will be held at 2pm and local people are invited to visit the newly refurbished facilities between 2.00pm - 4.00pm and 6.00pm - 8.00pm on Monday 6 July. To celebrate the opening there will be a prize raffle, free buffet and face painting.
The Bruce Road Community Flat committee thanks Angus Community Planning Partnership for supporting their Fairer Scotland Fund application, and is also grateful to the Arbroath Local Community Planning team for their support.
