Brechin Library Home Delivery Service To Begin
Brechin Library is to launch a new home delivery service for customers who are unable to visit the library but still wish to enjoy the pleasures of a good book.
Staff will work with individual customers who are elderly or who have disabilities to ensure favourite books are delivered.
Some customers may wish to use this service occasionally, visiting the library when they are well enough to do so, and others will use the service permanently.
There are no set rules and staff will work around circumstances to suit.
One member of staff will go out with the delivery driver and the books are lent out on a three month loan period, which can be extended by arrangement.
New and existing customers can obtain further details of the service by contacting Brechin Library T: 01356 622687 or E: brechin.library@angus.gov.uk
The first delivery for customers in Brechin is Friday 14 August, with another delivery scheduled for 18 September.
