It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of former Forfar Councillor, Colin Brown, on Saturday 13 April 2024.
Colin was a well-known face in Forfar and served the community as a local member for over 15 years. Colin was awarded the British Empire Medal in 2019 for services to the youth of Forfar and the surrounding area.
Colin formed Forfar Youth Club in 1969, running Youth Club amateur men football team, before founding Forfar Farmington FC in 1984. His dedication to the youth of the town has been exemplary.
Colin passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family.
