Performance Arrangements
There are three main parts to performance arrangements in Angus Council.
The first part is about developing plans that set out the priorities and areas in which we need to do better; the results we want to achieve, and the things we will do to achieve them. Specifically, this part translates the Angus Community Plan and Single Outcome Agreement, through Thematic Partnerships Plans to the priorities of our Corporate Plans to the actions set out in Angus Council Service Improvement and Operational Plans and finally to Personal Action Plans.
The second part brings together a number of processes that make sure that the things we plan to do are put in place and achieve the results we want. These processes combine things like risk management, corporate governance arrangements, staff appraisal, audit arrangements, performance indicators and our performance management software system. Details of these, and other, arrangements can be found in the Performance in Committee Reports section under the managing our business heading.
The third part is telling the public about our performance so that we can be held to account. What we report and when is described in our Public Performance Reporting Calendar (28 KB PDF)
. Further details can also be found in the Performance in Committee Reports section under the managing our business heading.
